Wired!

Where has the time gone?  Things are moving along quickly - much faster than I ever anticipated!  I visit Dr. Gerlein, my orthodontist, this afternoon at 4 p.m. to have my surgical wires put on.  Up to this point, he's been focusing on moving my teeth to get them straight.  Now, with only a little over a month to go until surgery, the focus changes.  The surgical wires are being put on so my teeth STOP moving.  You see, Brian and I visit Dr. Posnick, my surgeon, next week and he'll be doing the final models (molds of my jaws).  Obviously, since they're the final ones and the ones that he'll work on to determine what he wants to do during surgery, my teeth can't move after this point.  Yikes!  Things are becoming just a little bit too real!
